(VIDEO) #America loses in #Syria, wants war in #Venezuela?

From the Mont Order's 29 July annual global politics discussion:

"(the) USA has lost the so-called war in Syria... and it was a just a consequence that Trump has stopped (financing) the Syrian rebels, or Al-Nusra (Jabhat Fateh al-Sham). It would be a slow way that they (get) out (of) Syria but they start to go out."

The Sins of Empire (2015 book) by @JasonHirthler

In the midst of renewed US military aggression against the world under the Trump administration, readers should consider getting this book of collected essays by New York-based veteran of the communications industry Jason Hirthler*

From the blurb of the 2015 book:

"President Barack Obama's second term in the White House was a time of exceptional foreign policy belligerence and domestic economic decline. The Sins of Empire--a collection of the author's best work published between 2012 and 2015--offers a snapshot of U.S. imperialism in the early 21st century--unmasked, unmitigated, and unjustified."

Jason Hirthler's work has often featured in the American left publication Counterpunch.

@AndreVltchek conveys real people's real views on endless Western aggression

Andre Vltchek is a philosopher, novelist, filmmaker, investigative journalist, and writer of revolutionary books.* He had the following to report about the pattern of endless US and Western military attacks against smaller and oppressed nations based on always false pretexts.

"Many people are hiding their heads in the sand, obediently repeating the official Western narrative, while others are gradually resorting to... alternative sources of information"

"The recent opportunistic statements by certain badly informed and biased Western 'progressive' intellectuals, calling the Syrian system "disgraceful" has confused things even further."

"there is very little support among the [regional] general population as well as among the intellectuals, for the Western assaults on the country, conducted directly, and indirectly by proxies"

"ask the thinkers from all over the region, and the reaction is near unanimously against the assaults that are being conducted by the West."

"In Latin America, Russia, China, much of Africa and of course in the neighboring Iran, people are beginning to see clearly both the pattern and predictability of the Western foreign policy."

"What is now clearly detectable in the region is not just a condemnation of the US and Western actions, it is also a deep fatigue of having to endure the same type aggression which brings absolutely nothing except misery"

*Authors with similar views have always been present in the Mont Order society of dissidents, whose writing is re-blogged in various anti-establishment news feeds.

blogger @hugoturner1969 demands we wake up to West's wars and oppression

Commenting on US illegal aggression against Syria this month, anti-imperialist blogger Hugo Turner warns "The world could be on the brink of Nuclear War."

This is thanks to "lying media, genocidal humanitarians, thieving bankers, crooked politicians". With the unjust power structures sustained by Western despots and their fake democratic regimes, "The whole world is built on lies, greed, murder, cowardice", Turner writes in a post from 6 April, belonging to his blog Anti- Imperialist U.

Of the violence and bloodshed being perpetrated across the world on all fronts by the US regime, Turner writes "There are not enough tears in the world to mourn the mindless destruction wrought by imperialism upon the planet for centuries", likening the violence to "the crusades which also lasted centuries and involved untold suffering".

Violence and oppression has as its source "the west that sees itself as the beacon of virtue in the world. It burns our libraries and calls us ignorant destroys our cities and calls us savages without history."

In the end, the US regime and its allies may see its rampage end in failure and face the retribution of the oppressed, the blogger writes, stating "Just how many more centuries of genocide and slavery do you think the world will tolerate before it gives up hoping the west will change and decides to take it's awful revenge?"

For anti-imperialists like Hugo Turner, there is no doubt in our minds US-backed "rebels" were the ones responsible in Idlib for "killing 58 people 11 of them children." Furthermore, "Their deaths are on the hands of the media who by serving as cheap propagandists rather then journalists have created a climate in which the terrorists knew they could get away with the same scam."

Praising Syria as "the most heroic land on the planet" for acting as our front line against the West's campaign of lies and subjugation, the author also referenced other fronts against imperialism. Chief among these are Venezuela, "a symbol of hope to the world" also living under endless threats of US aggression and interference. North Korea is also in the crosshairs of "a potential war and open talk of assassination plots" due to its historic opposition to the US regime's hypocrisy and violence. And Libya is another front, where NATO death squads still engage in atrocities.

Demanding "we must all find some way to awaken the people to the horrifying tragedy", the author noted that "Russia, Iran and Syria's other friends" lay bare the plans of Western plunderers and are the best hope to bring dismay to the faces of the liars in Washington, London and Paris.

@EverydayVoices is worth following

Left-wing US blog Thoughts From my Kitchen is well worth keeping track of.

The author, highly critical of US imperialist foreign policy, has moderate influence over Twitter and posts via Wordpress.

Examples of comments by the author on recent events include the following, picked up on Twitter.

On reports Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka had an emotional outburst and asked her father to attack Syrian territory illegally, resulting in civilian deaths:

On US Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham's praise for US ally Saudi Arabia's constant massacres of civilians (including the use of chemical weapons) in Yemen:

Topics discussed at the blog, Thoughts From my Kitchen, more closely address domestic policy and everyday life in the US rather than international affairs.

@leftistcritic pointed out US “Human Rights Reports” propaganda failing

"Human Rights Reports" by the US regime's so-called "Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor" are part of its shallow propaganda campaign to justify its policies of aggression and mass murder.

Venezuela has said "the violation of human rights in the United States is serious and massive." Iran said the US regime "due to its very bad and dark record of human rights…is not in a position to comment on the human rights situation in other countries."

According to Leftist Critic "Such resistance shows that US government efforts to promote "human rights" imperialism, so that Western capitalism can be forced down the throats of the global proletariat, is failing."

Leftist Critic writes "the "reports" are part of the "happy" sheen of the murderous US empire, displayed by their promotion in white propaganda outlets such as VOA (Voice for America) and RFE/RL ("Radio Free" Europe/Radio Liberty), the Western media, and anti-Chinese Tibetan media."

The dissident writer points out the regime-authored cynical reports are "propaganda pumped out by "human rights" organizations like Amnesty, HRW, and Human Rights First, while strengthening existing imperial inter-relationships and supporting the idea of "democracy promotion,""

What the US regime seeks is the "promotion of Western bourgeois democracy", which is "central to NED (National Endowment for Democracy), with its tentacles of worldwide imperialist subversion", the dissident told readers.

One form of resistance we can all do, Leftist Critic proposes, rests in "refusing to share content of such "reports" in the future and stand in strong international solidarity with the peoples of the world, especially those who are resisting the march of death by the tentacles of Western imperialism, squeezing the world of its life force, whether it comes in the forms of the Cuban, DPRK, Zimbabwean, Chinese, and Russian governments or other creative, radical leftist ways of resistance."

Comments come from Leftist Critic in Countercurrents on 20 March 2017

Mont Order group appears in fantasy art

An artist at the image-sharing site DeviantArt has produced pictures themed on the Mont Order, with many portraying sword-wielding monks in a fantasy-like style.

The images make the Mont Order comparable with the Jedi knights of the Star Wars films, although the artist may have had something more "sinister" in mind. Some internet users skeptical of the Mont Order group have described the (allegedly) ancient order as something right out of a "bad movie plot". Although these pictures will only strengthen that idea, they certainly look epic enough to belong among your favorite all-time internet searches.

Ferocious-looking demons are portrayed being battled by a devout, humble warrior we can assume to be a knight or other devotee of the Order. A caption reads that the Mont Order has sent its men willingly through the gates of hell, as they were so driven to fight to the death against evil forms. Other pictures portray a "civil war" with one robed figure set against another. The story being told is not clearly something related to the real Mont Order group.

The real Mont Order "society" can be read about and even joined by people at LOrdre.net, with participation at a Facebook group and inclusion in exclusive email lists possible through the Mont Order. It doesn't look anywhere near as exciting as the image below would seem to suggest, however.

Members are not being given cloaks, Lord of the Rings style suits of armor, or swords at the Mont Order, but you may get a free badge and a surge of social media influence if you are part of the society.

For more weird fantasy pictures of the Mont Order, it's well worth adding the gallery of this DeviantArt user to your favorites and reusing the pictures, as these images are free to use under a Creative Commons license.
